I mean encounters with specific fandoms and the likes, sort of.
A new fandom has appeared on the blocks to enter this list. The Minecraft PE 0.9.0 beta testers...! It all happened when a bunch of people asked for the ability to beta test the 0.9.0 builds via apk files (the .exe of Android) on the beta's Google+ group. Somehow of all the people, these care more about the game's piracy than the game developers themselves!
Recently, they've been putting up prank links for whoever who wanted a download. From meme images to Dropbox html files to nothing at all. One of these "download links" had that guy giving the middle finger. Another was an obvious link to the game itself on Google Play. Some people will report you for posting the apk on the group even though I think its more likely for the pirates to grab the apk from outside the group than from the inside.
Lemme state how I ranted about these anti-piracy guys and how they totally miss the existence of the Amazon Appstore users. One of the only responses to that was "You suck."
In another I made a post stating that Amazon Appstore users exist and they have no other way to get into the beta. Well, the responses were pretty unexpected.
"Note that he didn't say Amazon Appstore users are intelligent"
Oh god, what?
"Awful people"
Those who uses the Appstore are awful indeed. Not terrorists who are awful! From the same guy above:
"Let dumb Kindle users wait maybe they should've bought a real Android."
Wait, I already have a real Android and not a Kindle? Its time I made this clear to them! From the same guy:

Me: Wait a second, 2 guys 1+'d Bruce Wayne's comment? Seriously, I'm not allowed to have as many legal stores as possible to access? I'm not allowed to enjoy what Android offers that iOS doesn't, just because a bunch of Minecraft whiners are whining about their app's piracy?

Yay, even some Android users are saying its not okay to have more stores besides Google Play. Lolwut, I'm no Apple user so I can have as many stores as possible without loudmouthed freaks like you saying its wrong. Whether its Amazon Appstore or Google Play I bought the same freaking app for the same platform (Android), so I'll never get why even Amazon Appstore users get the hate. Such babies.
