... Really, Google?

Y'know, Google has made some bat**** insane decisions like forcing people to use Google+, a horrible social network alongside their Youtube account. Oh yes, we totally need 2 accounts just to comment. Wonderful.

And another is disabling every extensions not from Google Web Store. Yes, whether you coded it or not, if it's not downloaded from Google Web Store, it's hard disabled and you can't re-enable it. Wow, much freedom indeed. Because that's totally going to solve browser hijacker problems. That's probably not going to result in people using Firefox and Opera over your once amazing browser. Oh, how the mighty has fallen!

The funny thing is that, they didn't even bother stopping start.qone and Omiga Plus.




Bravo, Google. You have not only manage to screw up Youtube so badly, but you also manage to make people want to use Firefox and Opera over you. How lovely and utterly wonderful.

What's next? Making it so that people have to pay for Google Chrome and watch videos on Youtube, only to still get the same Google+ bullcrap alongside Google Web Store extensions only?

If that's the case, I'm going to use Opera as my browser and Bing as my search engine. They may be inferior, but at least they don't restrict freedom as much as you do.

Anyways, as for Google forcing you to use Google+ for YouTube... And making you use another account... When you create a YouTube account... You create a Google account... And when you create a Google+ account... You create a Google account... In other words, to sign into either service, you log in with an account you already made, and that account is your Google account. You need not make a second account. If anything I think its a simple sign in into G+. I never met any kind of issue with that move, just that YouTube comments now show up on G+.

Plus G+ is a better social service than FB. It might be lacking over Twitter but its still good. FB is just plain terrible.


And Chrome non-Web Store extensions getting disabled: as far as I'd tell you should be able to hold the extension into the developer's view of the extensions settings and get it installed. Tell me if you can't install anything yet through developer's mode.

The extension I'm trying to install and stop from getting hard disabled is a "Tails Emoticon for SEGA Forum". It's not installed like ordinary extensions, it is installed as a script file and you have to drag said script file to Google Chrome to install it.

I forgot the extension of those downloadable extensions, was it crt? I think your script might be that file.
