If you didn't know, today's the day when deviantART gives everyone a 24 hour premium membership. Dunno if the premium effects such as new profile fields will last for as long as you don't remove them, but its still worth a try.

What a disappointing day it was yesterday...
None of the premium profile fields survived. They all just poof'd out of existence.

The only kind of effort I spent on dA's free premium day was just adding the premium fields into my profile. I left them empty as is and came back the following day to see their unexistence, like if they never even existed.
With this marketing strategy, dA got you cornered between paying forever for premium or buying lifetime premium. No small fee to get a better looking profile.
